The College of Business at the University of Jeddah was established based on the approval of the Holy Spirit No. 7385 dated 2/26/1434 AH. The College of Business at the University of Jeddah includes the following departments:

  • Marketing Department.  Information Systems Management Department.
  • Department of Business Administration.
  • Human Resources Management Department.
  • Accounting Department.
  • Department of Finance and Economics.
  • Supply Chain Management Department.

    Publication of the Second Edition of the Supply Chain and Logistics Book

    The College of Business extends its congratulations to the Editorial team on the successful publication of the second edition of its focus-area book series in Supply Chain and Logistics, in collaboration with the international publisher Springer. This book discusses advances in computational logistics and supply chain analytics. The book includes innovative data-driven and learning-based approaches, methods, algorithms, techniques, and tools that have been designed or applied to create and implement a successful logistics and supply chain management process. The book describes new applications of machine learning and data analytic techniques to solve transport, logistic, and supply chain optimization problems. The book gives readers an overview of innovative design and applications of computational methods issued from machine learning and data analytics domains to automate and improve transport, logistic and supply chain processes. The authors also highlight the importance of embedding and using computational methods to improve transport, logistic and supply chain processes. The authors introduce case studies of logistic and supply chain processes improved using innovative learning-based or data-driven methods. Table of contents (8 chapters) 1. This will enhance the university's standing, achieve its vision, and support the research capabilities of faculty members and students.

    A research team from the from the College of Business is preparing the second edition of a research book entitled: "Innovations in Computational Logistics and Supply Chain Analytics" This book highlights the state of the art and challenges related to the design and the application of computational methods to solve logistic and supply chain management problems. It aims to present for readers recent computational logistic methods and supply chain analytics techniques designed and applied to support managers in improving such complex processes. The project of the second edition of the book will be presented in cooperation with the Saudi Logistics Academy and Laval University in Canada, and will be published by Springer in late 2025.
