Preparing the academic schedules.
Organizing registration, course add/drop procedures for college courses.
Managing course withdrawal, semester deferment, and re-enrollment processes.
Receiving exam papers from other colleges.
Organizing midterm and make-up examinations.
Organizing examination committees and assigning invigilators during exam periods.
Responsibilities of the Student Activities Unit:
Organizing extracurricular activities within the college.
Communicating with students and engaging them in student activity events such as trips, theater, and internal and external cultural competitions.
Supervising the organization of exhibitions held within the college.
Responsibilities of the Student Guidance, Counseling, and Rights Unit:
Welcoming and orienting new students, introducing them to the college, its departments, and preparing them for university life.
Providing academic, psychological, social, and scientific guidance and consultation to students.
Supporting students with academic difficulties or exceptional talent, and studying cases requiring financial support from the Student Fund.
Protecting student rights according to university regulations and promoting a culture of justice and fairness.
Offering advisory support to students and informing them of their academic rights through official channels.
Responsibilities of the Quality Assurance and University Vision Alignment Unit:
Promoting a culture of quality, assessing performance, and supervising the implementation of academic accreditation requirements.
Continuously collecting and documenting data on quality activities and contributing to the strategic planning process of the college.
Preparing reports on performance levels and beneficiary satisfaction.
Overseeing assessment and evaluation activities and submitting recommendations to the Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs and Development.
Promoting evaluation culture among students and raising awareness of its impact through feedback surveys.
Monitoring initiatives implemented by the college to achieve the university’s vision and submitting periodic reports to the Vice-Dean.
Responsibilities of the Alumni Unit:
Analyzing and assessing the status of the college’s graduates.
Establishing and maintaining an updated alumni database.
Creating a database of institutions and companies relevant to the graduates and labor market.
Communicating with alumni and promoting a culture of personal branding and career readiness.
Measuring alumni satisfaction and sharing results with relevant departments.
Preparing lists of expected graduates and recent graduates.
Preparing the unit’s annual report.
Organizing annual gatherings for alumni to exchange insights with academic programs.
Conducting workshops to equip graduating students with employability skills.
Holding periodic meetings with the University’s Career Guidance and Development Department.
Responsibilities of the Practical and Cooperative Training Unit:
Communicating with external training entities to secure internship opportunities for students.
Announcing training opportunities to students and monitoring their performance through reports from host organizations and student satisfaction surveys.
Preparing training reports and submitting them to the Vice-Dean for Academic Affairs and Development.
